Hinduism is incomplete without the many goddesses worshipped in numerous forms by Hindus all over the world. The many goddesses have their own energy and aure appearance, character and role. Each is worshipped in her own right. Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati fulfil specific responsibilities as the consorts of the Hindu Trinity.
Lakshmi the wife of Vishnu is revered as the goddess of beauty good fortune and prosperity. Since everyone seeks good luck and fortune, she is perhaps the most worshipped of all goddesses. Lakshmi is described as an attractive lady with a golden complexion, who is well dressed and bedecked with precious gems and jewels. She wears a lotus garland around her neck. Goddess Mahalakshmi has ever been in existence.
Her appearance from samudra manthan is one of her main manifestation only. Goddess Mahalakshmi was also born to the great Sage Bhrigu and she is therefore also called as Bhargavi. Mahalkshmi is also the sister of the great Guru Sukracharya as well as the great planet Chandra. Each time Vishnu descends on earth as an avatar, He is accompanied by an avatar of Lakshmi.
Kali is depicted standing on the body of SHIVA who has  thrown himself at the feet of Kali in order to placate her thirst for blood. Kali's tongue shoots out from her mouth to lap up the blood of falling enemies, and this entire Kali  statue rests upon a double lotus blossom base. Kali is depicted here as having ten arms, with eight of them holding weapons, while one holds the severed head of one of Kali's enemies, and the tenth holds a conch shell. Kali, the Dark Mother is one such deity with whom devotees have a very loving and intimate bond, in spite of her fearful appearance.

Saraswati wife of Brahma is the goddess of speech learning and knowledge. Sarawati is dressed in white, symbolic of purity and light. She does not wear much jewelry or gold because she prefer simplicity and austerity. She has four arms. She holds a book in one of the right hands and a rosary or lotus in one of the left hands. She holds Veena in the other two hands. The rosary is symbolic of prayer and austerity
