Our latest edition is this beautiful and eclectic Mughal era vintage Indian Trunk, hand-carved wooden storage box, or Indian Damchiya. This antique Indian cart was painted with shades of teal blue, rustic reds and earthy brown. The cart rolls on hand-carved wooden wheels. Hand-carved wooden horseheads painted in blue adorn the top rail. The front of the piece features alternating carved squares with chakra and medallions.  The four center squares open up to reveal the storage cavity and reveal shelves. The top center two squares open as a drawer. The back has been modified into sliding door panels. It would make a wonderful addition to any modern home as a unique and eclectic sideboard, buffet or conversation piece.
