Chakras makes our energies counterglow in the subtle body. Healthy chakras nourish our mind, body and spirit. A closed chakra causes closing yourself off from others and hurting yourself emotionally and health wise.

Chakras are centers of energies in the subtle body. The spiritual body is the first layer in our aura and is closest to the energy block of our body. Healthy open chakras keep our mind, body and spirit living in harmony with the universe. A closed chakra caused by energy blockage, emotional or spiritual will create discord, causing the chakras to go into imbalance. This induces a state of laziness and conflict and leads to physical illnesses.

Chakra balance and design for our homes!!

We connect with the universe through our spiritual body and the chakras that energize us in a mutuality that encompasses us as a whole. Our home is an expansion of our energy so a happy house is a happy you!! Integrating the chakras in our home to connect with us leads to a balanced life.Mogulinterior imports vintage carved doors, rustic doors, artistic barndoors, Indian doors, deity carvings and wall sculptures in reclaimed woods.

The Root Chakra is associated with stability and survival and governs the Kitchen. The kitchen is where we nourish ourselves so a clean, bright and happy surround keeps the chakra in balance. An antique damchiya in bright reds, an Indian sideboard hand carved in old reclaimed wood works splendidly as an island where family shares cooking chores while cooking their favorite meals. Earthing woods and warm colors of vintage carved tree of life barn doors for the pantry, nourishes the soul. Decorate with fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh flowers, sustain the source. This chakra is also where any energy is removed from our body, so a leaking toilet or tap drains energy. The vintage blue console made from antique chests and studded with iron converted into a bathroom cabinet gives the eclectic element. Decorate with broad leaf plants and metal planters.

The Sacral Chakra is connected to the center of creation, and could be your office / study room where you paint or write your daily blogs. Orange sheers, russet beaded sari tapestry hanging from a carved distressed wood mantle give the feel of creative energy. Accent with patchwork toss pillows and feel the creative urges come alive.

The Solar Plexus Chakra is our will power, social connections. The family room and laundry room are connected to this chakra. Are you happy and connected sitting in your family room or do you feel isolated? A spectacular ochre yellow Indian door or a reclaimed wood coffee table with elephant legs will bring in new energy. My friend decorated her laundry room beautifully with an antique Indian bookcase with cowrie shells using it to store the laundry and cleaning supplies, a practical yet beautiful statement design!

The Heart Chakra represents love and compassion, the green plants that are scattered all over the house. The bedroom is the zone for the heart chakra and the love between a husband and wife. A beautiful carved Krishna wall sculpture panel makes a magnificent headboard, the colors bringing in the magic of harmony. Beautiful vintage consoles make unique nightstands and the bedding is soft and luxurious

A clear hallway keeps the energy flowing, the Throat Chakra governs communication. Clean hallways and your work desk or computer areas connect to this chakra. We work and connect to the friends via the internet, yet the electromagnetic charge creates disharmony in our energy field. Earthing old reclaimed stone study tables take away this charge and balance us so we can communicate in a happy and concise medium. Ornate hall tables and vintage armoires in vivid turquoise also energize this chakra.

The Ajna or Third Eye Chakra balances all the other chakras yet is energized only when all the others are in balance. Wisdom and intuition the Ajna chakra is your sacred space or your meditation room where you empower your inner self. Prosperity in all aspects of life is governed by this chakra and violet is the colors that resonates with it. Divine sculptures of Shiva, Ganesha and Buddha raise the vibrations of the house and your innerself.

The crown chakra is our link to the universe, the thousand petalled lotus that envelops us with its love. The entry door would be carved with beautiful motifs of lotus and divine symbols such as the prosperity urn attracting the cosmic energies towards our home and welcoming all goodness.

Let us design our home to balance our Chakras because a happy house is a happy you!!
