Antiques and Furniture

The intricate carvings found on our website are hand done and some irregularities are a result of the making process. The minor cracks or openings that you see are an inherent nature of these old carvings. However, they are not to be considered as a defect or damage, but rather a result of their being hand carved and truly one of a kind. Some are joints between pieces of wood as carved panels are put together to create this size carving and others are just where the carving has deepened and a crevice has formed. We often use wood filler for such occasions which sometimes come loose during shipping and handling of the piece.

All our clothing is handmade and imported from India, we firmly adhere to Fair Trade and Ethical Fashion.

We recommend hand wash/cold water for all embroidered clothing, and hang to dry. Please do not use dryer as the threads will unravel and the garment will shrink. The handloom cottons are dyed with vegetables inks and sometimes the smell lingers which goes away if washed in cold water with a dash of vinegar.
