Hand-Painted Carved Wood Panel Tree of Life with Peacocks Vibrant Folk Art 84x36

This tall wood panel is deeply hand-carved with a beautiful Tree of Life design, its dark trunk rising straight up the center with branches curling outward into a heart shape, and it's been hand-painted in the most vivid folk-art colors, think emerald green, deep red, mustard yellow, and rich cobalt blue, with a warm burgundy border framing the whole thing. Two pairs of stylized blue birds appear on the panel, perched near the base and again nestled within the curling branches higher up, surrounded by carved florals, leaves, and little berry-like blossoms in warm reds and golds that just pop against all that green. The carving itself is wonderfully detailed, with layered petals, feathered wings, and swirling vines that give the whole piece a real sense of movement, and the paintwork has that slightly worn, timeworn quality that tells you this was made and used a while ago rather than churned out yesterday. Tree of Life motifs like this one are rooted in traditional Indian folk art and carry symbolism of growth, abundance, and connection, making this a piece with as much meaning as it has color.
