The name Hanuman is derived from the words "han", meaning destroyed, and "man", meaning self-pride, representing Hanuman's embodiment of humility and lack of ego. As the monkey god, Hanuman is revered for his power and strength, and was a lifelong celibate. He is revered as the greatest devotee of Ram, and in turn, Ram holds him in the highest regard. Hanuman is also an incarnation of Shiva, known as Rudra. Hanuman summed up his beliefs with the words, "When I identify with my body, I am just Your creation, separate from You. When I identify with my soul, I am a spark of the Divine Fire that You are. But when I identify with the Atman, I am one with You."

We are associated with a group of artisans who are skilled in the art of carving raw blocks of granite stone into beautiful masterpieces. This is an old world carving process that is very unique and labor intensive. Just to find the raw granite is hard enough and then the process of carving by chisels and iron tools is almost a lost art.

Shipping

Shipping methods are selected based on the weight and dimensions of the item. Large furniture and heavy doors go via freight or white glove shipping and smaller items will ship regular ground by UPS or USPS postal service.
